Three methods of making your own Iced Tea
- Hot Brew Method (Traditional)
- Bring water to a boil (70°C for green/white tea, 100°C for herbal/rooibos)
- Use 8 grams of loose tea per liter of water
- Soak for 3-5 minutes
- Let cool and serve with ice cream
- Cold Brew Method (For the gourmets)
- Use 8 grams of tea per liter of cold water
- Allow to infuse for at least 8 hours in the refrigerator
- Sieve with a fine mesh stainless steel filter
- Serve with ice cream for a subtle flavor
- Shock Brew Method (Fast and Tasty)
- Replace half the water with ice cubes
- Brew the tea a little stronger than usual
- Pour the hot tea directly over the ice cubes
